Le Minuit.

Restaurant + Bar

Why does the excitement of drinking and dancing have to be only accompanied by alcohol? Le Minuit is part of a growing global wave of night spots that specifically cater to people who are avoiding alcohol but still want to go out and socialize in spaces that have traditionally been dominated by drinking. Le Minuit is a speakeasy style restaurant and bar inspired by the 1920s prohibition era and art deco movement.

Only appearing at midnight to sunrise, Le Minuit is a late-night space for restless creatives and lost souls to convene and mingle deep into the night.  The playful illustrations are symbolic of the 1920s prohibition slang words to avoid saying anything related to drinking or intoxication. Some of these phrases include, spifflicated, zozzled, blind pig, bathtub gin, and boiled as an egg. The photography, typography, and colors embody prohibition era.
